Beginner's Guide: Easy-to-Learn Nail Art Techniques

2. Nail Preparation and Care

Beautiful nail art is mostly dependent on good preparation of nails. Start by washing hands completely and totally removing old polish. Using a file, shape your nails always in one direction to avoid split. Following a few minutes of warm water soaking, gently push back cuticles with a cuticle pusher. To produce a smooth canvas, gently buff the nail surface; but, avoid over-buffing since this will weaken nails. To get grease and trash off the nail surface, use alcohol or polish remover. Before starting polish application, apply a nouraging cuticle oil and hand cream and let them absorb. Regular care of nail health by appropriate diet and moisture will guarantee your nail art looks its best.
