8. You Lack Confidence

One absolutely weak point is lack of confidence. Dogs are natural predators; they can therefore detect any weakness automatically. That means you must be confident with every directive. How your dog responds to training depends much on your body language, voice tone, and general attitude. Dogs are quite sensitive to human emotions and fast pickers of uncertainty or hesitancy. To boost your confidence, practice your orders and hand signs alone. Throughout training, stand tall, talk clearly, and keep consistent body language. If you're uncertain, stand back and practice simpler commands until your confidence increases. Recall that learning involves mistakes for your dog as much as for you.
If you stay persistent and avoid these typical blunders, you will gradually but definitely distinguish yourself as a trainer and learn more about the nature of your dog. Recall: Practice makes perfect!
